Snappy Camper salad dressing recipe
If necessity is the mother of invention, she is alive, well and present on most camping trips. Either because you forget it, couldn't find it, or couldn't fit it, you will most liking be lacking a thing or two that you take for granted in a fully stocked, heated and electrified kitchen.
On recent trip when faced with a basket of veggies that couldn't survive another night in the wild I whipped together a Mexican ranch number with a few things I found around the camping kitchen and found it so I awesome I just had to share (or at least write it down somewhere so I wouldn't forget what I did).
Here's what you need:
mayonnaise
milk
Adobo
oregano
black pepper
Here's what you do:
Throw some mayo in a keg cup
add milk till the consistency works for you
sprinkle in the spices
stir until the lumps are gone
pour over salad, potatoes, fish, steak, burgers and/or tofu pups
enjoy
This bad boy will serve many purposes on your camping trip including mixing bowl and bottle for your snappy camper salad dressing.
